What holds ideas together? In this video, we explore a simple but powerful metaphor: science as glue. "Science is Glue" is part of the Science Diplomacy Grid's ongoing effort to communicate the value of science across borders, disciplines, and communities.

Science diplomacy community of practice and convenings of multidisciplinary scholars at the interface of science and diplomacy to exchange knowledge and insights on scientific topics ranging from quantum information science and climate diplomacy to innovation in multilateralism and strategic stability.

The Science Diplomacy Grid is the global network of individuals and organizations that come together on a regular basis to exchange ideas, share initiatives and best practices with each other, and strengthen the science diplomacy ecosystem. The central goals of the Science Diplomacy Grid are to foster the growth of a global network of science diplomats, initiate and sustain long-term international partnerships, and connect evidence-based research with policy development by convening diverse viewpoints to foster dialogue across disciplines.
